Gutters & downspouts in Greater Vancouver & the Fraser Valley

Seamless gutters and downspouts sized and installed to move our coastal rain away from your home.

Gutters & downspouts by Awesense Exterior — example of our work

On the South Coast, gutters are not a finishing touch - they are the part of the roof system that keeps relentless rain off your fascia and soffits and away from your foundation. Undersized or poorly sloped gutters overflow during a typical Fraser Valley downpour, and that overflow is what rots trim, stains siding, and pools against the building. We size and pitch every run for the real rainfall this region sees, not a national average.

We install seamless aluminum gutters formed on site, so there are far fewer joints to leak, with downspouts routed to carry water well clear of the foundation or into your existing drainage. Where leaves and conifer needles are a constant problem - which is most of the region - we can fit guards to cut down on the clogging that leads to overflow and winter ice.

Proper discharge matters as much as the gutter itself. We make sure water reaches perimeter drains or splash blocks rather than dumping at the base of a wall, where it undermines landscaping and finds its way into basements.

Frequently asked

Gutters & downspouts — your questions

Are seamless gutters worth it over sectional ones?

On the coast, yes. Fewer joints means far fewer places to leak, and we form them on site to fit your roofline exactly.

Do I really need gutter guards?

If your roof sits under conifers or maples, guards sharply reduce the needle and leaf clogs that cause overflow and winter ice. They are not essential everywhere, so we will tell you honestly.
